Distributor & Customer Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with distributors and export customers.
- Support distributors in maximizing sales performance to achieve company sales and profit targets.
- Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
Export Sales Development & Operations
- Introduce and promote company products to expand sales in both existing and new export markets.
- Monitor export retail sales operations to ensure timely delivery and collection of payments.
- Review accounts receivable ageing reports to ensure adherence to payment terms.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement annual, mid-term, and long-term marketing plans for assigned export markets.
- Plan and execute marketing activities, including customer visits and market studies, to achieve sales targets.
- Enhance brand awareness through social media initiatives, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns within approved budgets.
Market & Consumer Insight
- Analyse market conditions, including distribution channels, consumer insights, competitor activities, and regional characteristics.
- Strengthen consumer product knowledge through the preparation of effective promotional materials and usage kits.
Product & Business Development Support
- Support new product development initiatives and improvements to existing products, including concept development, packaging, and design.
- Participate in cost-reduction and product profitability improvement initiatives.
Sales Performance & Reporting
- Monitor sales performance and ensure accurate recording of expenses.
- Prepare monthly sales and stock movement reports to prevent overstocking or stock-out situations.
Supply Chain & SCM Support
- Support Supply Chain Management (SCM) and PSI-related projects to enhance operational efficiency and customer value.
- Coordinate supply chain activities to ensure sustainable and competitive export operations.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with all company systems and standards, including Food Safety & Quality, Environmental, Safety, Halal, and Food Defense requirements.
Travel & Other Responsibilities
- Travel within assigned export markets as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors or the company from time to time.
about you
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years sales experience in any field, fresh grads are welcome to apply
- Dietary Flexibility: As this role requires sensory evaluation and handling of our full product range, candidates must have no dietary restrictions and no food allergies (specifically regarding seafood, dairy, nuts, or meat-based products).
- Must be willing to travel internationally and locally as required for trade shows or client visits.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive "sales" mindset, great presentation, and the ability to work in a multicultural corporate environment.
