Are you a detail-oriented Finisher with a high standard of workmanship? We are looking for an experienced tradesperson to join a new build housing site in Hessle for a contract role.
This is a critical position focused on the final stages of the build, ensuring every plot is handed over in "show-home" condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing final internal snagging lists to a high standard.
- Adjusting doors, ironmongery, and kitchen units.
- Fixing minor timber defects, skirting, and architrave touch-ups.
- Mastic/silicone application to kitchens and bathrooms.
- Ensuring all plots are "customer-ready" and defect-free.
- Working closely with the Site Manager to meet strict handover deadlines.
What You'll Need:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred).
- Proven experience in finishing and snagging on new build housing sites.
- A full suite of your own tools (including cordless kit and fine finishing tools).
- A keen eye for detail-you must be able to spot and fix the small things that others miss.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
- Reliability and a professional manner when working on-site.
