Job Title: Gateman / Site Warden
Location:Darlington
Pay Rate: £17 per hour (Umbrella)
Duration: Approx 5 months
About the Role: We are looking for a reliable Gateman to manage site access in Darlington. As the first point of contact for the site, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.
Duties Include:
Managing site access, greeting visitors, and directing delivery vehicles safely.
Checking delivery notes and ensuring only authorised personnel enter the site.
Signing workers, visitors, and deliveries in and out.
Ensuring the main gates are secure at all times.
Assisting with light site tidying or banking duties near the gate where required.
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card.
Traffic Marshall / Traffic Banker ticket (preferred).
Full PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat).
Previous experience as a Gateman.
Good communication skills, reliable, and punctual.
