1. Fleet & Transport Management
• Oversee operation and utilization of large fleets (company-owned and outsourced), ensuring timely dispatch, availability, and optimal load planning.

2. End-to-End Logistics Execution
• Manage dispatch of finished goods from manufacturing plants to domestic and export ports/customs points.
• Coordinate reverse logisticsfor return shipments, rejected materials, and containers.
• Ensure documentation accuracy for customs, export, and port handling, avoiding penalties and delays.
3. OTIF & Service Delivery
• Drive On Time in Full (OTIF) deliveries as per customer and export commitments.
• Define and enforce Service Level Agreements(SLAs) with transporters and logistics partners.
• Continuously monitor delivery performance againstset benchmarks.
4. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with RTO, port, customs, and hazardous material transportation norms (specific to bromine & chemicals).
• Maintain adherence to company’s safety, quality, and sustainability policies.
• Conduct periodic audits on fleet, documentation, and driver certifications.
5. Cost & Efficiency Management
• Optimize transportation coststhrough route planning, consolidation, and load optimization.
• Support commercial with inputs for freight rates and contracts with transporters and port service providers.
• Reduce demurrage, detention, and port handling chargesthrough proactive coordination.
6. Stakeholder & Partner Management
• Build and sustain long-term partnerships with transporters, shipping lines, and logistics vendors.
• Liaise with port authorities and customs officials to ensure priority cargo handling and faster clearance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Sales, Finance, Commercial, Export-Import) to align logistics with business needs.
