the role

• Strategic Growth & P&L Ownership: Develop and execute long-term commercial roadmaps and data-driven sales strategies to meet revenue targets, manage margins, and align with global food industry shifts.
• Commercial Execution & Pipeline Management: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle—from technical sampling to industrial trials—while managing key accounts with major CPG manufacturers and optimizing regional distribution networks.
• Market Positioning & Technical Marketing: Bridge the gap between R&D and the market by translating complex food science into compelling value propositions, concept prototypes, and thought leadership at major industry trade shows.
• Team Leadership & Market Intelligence: Recruit and mentor a high-performing, technically-adept sales and marketing team while monitoring regulatory changes and competitor activity to identify emerging white-space opportunities.

the experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Science, Business Studies or related qualifications
• Minimum 8 year working experience in the food ingredients industry, preferably handling the emulsifier portfolio.
• Resourceful, analytic and able to work under pressure
