Randstad Education is proud to be partnering with welcoming and forward-thinking primary schools in and around Bury St Edmunds to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This long-term, ongoing role offers an exciting opportunity to support students' learning and development in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in supporting class teachers, delivering small group and one-to-one interventions, and helping create a positive and inclusive classroom experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team committed to inspiring the next generation.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging and creative lessons
  
  
• Leading small group sessions and delivering 1:1 support for pupils
  
  
• Providing cover supervision across the school when needed
  
  
• Assisting with the assessment and progress tracking of students
  
  
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  
  
• Upholding the school's values and promoting positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  
  

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent
  
  
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Randstad)
  
  
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
  
  
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  
  
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  
  
• A genuine passion for education and child development
