about the role
Oversee full-spectrum human resources operations and administration for the regional plant, managing local teams, manpower planning, and worker hostel facilities.
Develop and maintain HR information systems, salary administration programs, and competitive compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with industry trends.
Formulate and enforce company policies regarding equal employment opportunities, statutory compliance, and federal and state employment regulations.
Provide strategic advisory to top management on employee relations, dispute resolutions, domestic inquiries, and collective bargaining or industrial relations matters.
Administer annual performance review cycles, department budgeting, and workforce analytics to implement procedures for reducing turnover and absenteeism.
Manage external service providers and vendors, including search firms, temporary staffing agencies, and third-party operational service contractors.
about the requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing plant environment.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Employment Act, and formal investigation procedures.
Strong leadership, consultative, and problem-solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven capability in managing plant-level operations, statutory audits, foreign worker management, and payroll execution.
