The client is seeking a seasoned HRBP Manager to serve as a strategic partner to the Business Unit Director in their Malaysian operations. Based in Selangor, this role is critical for aligning human resources policies with the company’s annual operational objectives and organizational strategies. The successful candidate will leverage headquarter resources to manage site-based HR professional services, ensuring that the local core team is effectively built and managed.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic HR Planning: Analyzing talent needs, including knowledge and skill requirements, to provide a basis for recruitment and talent development planning.
Core Team Recruitment: Formulating and executing recruitment plans to identify, interview, and select top-tier talent for the overseas facility.
Talent Development: Designing localized training roadmaps, completing competency assessments, and managing personal development planning to promote employee career growth.
Employee & Performance Management: Assisting department heads in enhancing team engagement, resolving complex workplace grievances, and managing the departmental performance appraisal cycle.
Policy & Compliance: Designing and implementing localized HR policies and compensation structures within the Group’s framework while ensuring strict compliance with Malaysian labor laws.
Compensation & Benefits: Optimizing local salary structures to maintain market competitiveness and internal fairness.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or above.
At least 10 years of local working experience in Malaysia, with a strong background in manufacturing or factory operations.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management.
Bilingual proficiency with fluency in both Chinese and English (oral and written) to facilitate communication between the local site and international headquarters.
