Standard Hours: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays), 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM (overtime available, pending location)

About the Gig

Whether your background is in Vac / Liquid operations or General Waste (Front Lift, Rear Lift, Hook, or Skip), we have genuine long-term roles backed by competitive payrates, early morning starts, and plenty of afternoon time back to yourself.
The Streams & Locations
1. Liquid & Vac Truck Fleet (Kilburn, Wingfield or Mount Barker)
...- Kilburn Depot: Servicing metro and industrial clients across grease traps, oily water, used oil, and septic systems.
- Mount Barker Depot: Focused primarily on septic tank servicing, plus occasional grease trap, oil, and oily water pump-outs across the Adelaide Hills and surrounds.
- The Role: Operating purpose-built HR vac trucks, running and handling suction hoses, safely discharging at disposal facilities, and performing daily pre-start inspections.
2. General Waste Fleet (Wingfield)
- Front Lift & Rear Lift: Commercial collections across retail, office, and industrial sites, or metro/residential bin runs.
- Hook Lift (Ro-Ro) & Skip Bins: Safe delivery, winching, changeover, and transport of bulk containers across civil, construction, and domestic sites.
- The Role: Operating hydraulic lifters, winches, and tipping gear with precision, and safely discharging loads at transfer stations.
What We’re Looking For
- Licence: Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Unrestricted driver's licence.
- Experience: Proven experience driving HR vehicles across either:
- Vac trucks, sucker trucks, or liquid waste tankers; OR
- General waste trucks (Front Lift, Rear Lift, Hook Lift, or Skip Bins).
- Added Bonuses 🎯:
- Current tickets or experience in Confined Spaces and Working at Heights.
- Exposure to CCTV pipe inspection is highly regarded!
- Physical Fitness: Confident pulling hoses, handling chains, wheeling bins, and staying active on your feet.
- Safety & Reliability: Strong zero-harm values, pride in vehicle presentation, and reliability for early 4:00 AM starts.
Onboarding & Eligibility Checklist 📋
To ensure you hit the ground running safely, all candidates must provide or complete:
- Full Australian working rights (with no visa limitations).
- A reliable personal vehicle and driver's licence to guarantee on-time 4:00 AM starts.
- An up-to-date Driver History Report.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment onboarding prior to day one, including:
- A National Police Check
- A comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (including Drug & Alcohol screening)
