Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing in setting and achieving the daily / weekly / monthly objectives for the section and communicating them to the employees
- Supervise the manufacturing processes, ensuring that production targets are achieved in line with quality requirements
- Conduct overall production planning for the section, including manpower, tools and other resources and ensure adherence to the same
- Oversee lining of equipment and monitor daily activity as per production schedule
- Review root cause analysis to address any issues arising in the line during the production process, including any quality, safety and maintenance issues
- Conduct periodic review of production process and final output and address any quality issues identified with the same
- Oversee TPM activities for the section and maintain required documentation for audit purposes
- Identify, document, and report any potentially unsafe practices
- Review and monitor production schedules and budgets for projects
- Monitor adherence of manpower to documented safety protocols
- Participate in periodic meetings with key internal stakeholders to review performance metrics and draft plans
- Prepare and review production review reports on a periodic basis
- Plan and execute improvement projects and activities for the section
- Review any customer complaints and provide support towards rectifying customer issues
- Provide training to plant manpower to ensure production quality and efficiency

- Percentage achievement of production target as per plan
- Percentage of quality rejections / customer complaints
- Equipment downtime
- Number of safety incidents
- 100% adherence to all statutory compliances
Knowledge and Skills
Education
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred
Experience
12+ years of experience in heavy equipment manufacturing industry with minimum 4-5 years in a supervisory position
