key responsibilities:
... - Lead a high-performing cloud operations team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute comprehensive cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for both AWS and Azure platforms.
- Oversee cloud environment security, conducting regular audits and implementing controls like Identity and Access Management (IAM) and encryption.
- Drive cost optimization by analyzing cloud expenses, implementing reduction measures, and establishing control mechanisms.
- Establish highly available and scalable cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and implementing robust monitoring and automation.
qualifications and experience:
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in managing cloud operations at scale, with the following expertise:
- Approximately 15 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 10 years spent in a cloud environment.
- Strong technical understanding of major public cloud platforms, including architecture, services, and DevOps methodologies.
- Expertise in cloud security practices, including network security, data protection, and managing compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
- Proven experience developing and executing application and infrastructure migration plans to the cloud.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in building and mentoring teams.
