In partnership with a Big Four company, we are recruiting for a International Tax and Transaction Services role.
...Participate in tax due diligence engagements across a broad range of tax matters applicable in Portugal;
Conduct tax diagnostics relating to various Portuguese tax compliance obligations;
Provide tax advisory support within transaction processes, with a focus on the structuring of investments and divestments;
Review and assess the tax implications embedded in financial models used in transactions;
Analyse tax-related clauses in transactional documentation, including Sale and Purchase;
Agreements (SPA) and Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) agreements;
Coordinate and manage teams involved in cross-border transactions, ensuring quality delivery and effective collaboration across stakeholders;

Degree in Economics, Law, Taxation, Accounting or a related financial discipline;
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Tax and Transaction Services;
Strong interest in international taxation and cross-border legal frameworks;
Experience working in multicultural and international environments;
Full professional proficiency in English;
Willingness to work in Portugal and/or internationally as required;
Availability to participate in international tax and transaction training programmes and events.
