Responsibilities
·Develop the terms of the detailed project plan in consultation with the Project Leadership Team.
·Prepare and maintain the Project Plan and obtain approval from the Project Management Delivery Office and
the Executive Sponsor for the assigned project, as applicable.
·Ensure the project is undertaken in accordance with the standards, processes and documentation which
follow Project Management Institute standards.
·Ensure effective project governance by supporting executive steering committees with timely reporting,
escalation of risks and issues, and clear recommendations.
·Produce deliverables on time, within budget and to specification ensuring project objectives are met.
·Ensure the work products and deliverables are completed in compliance with technical standards.
Qualifications
Local Knowledge: GOS is interested in understanding the Resource’s experience with GOS, or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscape.
Demonstrated experience delivering IT projects in a public sector environment (government, Crown corporation, healthcare, education, or regulated public entity), including operating within formal governance, approvals, and audit requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing cloud-based IT projects, including SaaS implementations, cloud migrations, or cloud-native solution delivery.
