key responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple medium complexity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Conduct project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress updates, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish clear project goals and objectives.
- Implement best practices in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, to optimize project execution.
- Manage the procurement and deployment of necessary project resources, including software, hardware, and third-party services.
- Manage change requests and ensure that all changes are thoroughly documented, assessed, and approved before implementation.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) demonstrate expertise in project management practices.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and standards.
- Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Proven experience in budget management, resource allocation, and financial oversight of IT projects.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor project team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are preferred.
- Experience in risk management, change management, and quality assurance processes.
