Responsibilities- Assist in the operation and monitoring of CNC machines to ensure production targets are met.
- Participate in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished components with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Conduct routine quality checks on manufactured parts to ensure they adhere to precise technical specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all workplace safety and environmental protocols.
- Support the maintenance team in routine machine inspections and preventative upkeep.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for machine setup and tool changes under the guidance of experienced senior operators.
- Document production data accurately and report any operational discrepancies to the shift supervisor.
- ITI certification (Industrial Training Institute) in a relevant trade such as Machinist, Fitter, or Turner.
- Maximum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
- Foundational knowledge of CNC machine operations and metalworking processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
- Commitment to precision, quality, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong willingness to learn and adhere to rigorous safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented production environment.
