As a Lab Assistant, you will provide assistance to Operations by cleaning, decontamination, and waste disposal.
Main tasks:
Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols.
Keep the lab orderly and functional.
Change waste containers and dispose of waste material.
Keep stock levels sufficient in the lab.
Assist with general laboratory maintenance.
Maintain accurate and detailed product & instrument records.
Communicate with all levels of peers and management.
Perform other duties as specified by management.
Report any problems to management.
Follow all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Additional tasks
Prepare synthesis plates or columns so that they are ready for synthesis; which includes washing, drying, fritting and membrane loading.
Perform quality and safety control checks.
Perform optical density measurements.
