Role:
The Site Manager is responsible for the Site-Planning, Erection & Commissioning activities of Large Hydro
Power Plant. He is based at site, leading the Expats, Site supervisors, QC Engineers, Stores team and various
contractors for successful execution of Site Works.

Site Mobilization and Establishment of Accommodation, infrastructure, offices, and stores etc.
Controlling of all installation and commissioning activities in respect of technical performance, quality,cost and time schedule and corrective measures in case ofdeviations
Co-ordination of site work. Calling of regular site meetings (minutes of meetings required) and reporting to the Project Manager /SI Team Leader.
Site management and coordination of site personnel (Expats, supervisor/installation company)
Management of health, safety and environmental aspects. As per EHS practices, Stop the process, set off the alarm, protect the workplace, seek help, first aid through safety member. HIRA, POWRA.
Preparation of Installation reports, site logbook, weekly / monthly reports, meeting protocols, test protocols, records for claims and control on QC documentation
Handling monthly site cash and timely submission of accounts.
Procurement of site materials and services in coordination with the project manager (refer signature regulation (P HIN 01 03 01 -1)
Coordination with home office and on shore manager in respect of local transports (crane availability, storage yard, etc)
Allotment of work for site / sub supplier staff & review the progress.
Handling, storage, preservation, administration of tools, materials, limited storable materials, and dangerous substances, prompt checking, marking of the product to prevent unintended use E.g. sticker.
Planning and execution of Installation instructions, inspection and test plans, test procedures
Compiling NCRs, helping to resolve site non-conformities and timely reporting to the PM
Project specific Health and Safety and Environmental Plan Health and Safety meetings, instructions and toolbox talks, inspections through nominated safety member.
Analysis of the reasons for the deviation, accident, or incident. Definition and implementation of preventive measures and instruction of personnel, NCR or accident /incident report.
Claim identification form to be issued and sent to the CPM and PM
Support during commissioning according to R HY EX60 01 Commissioning report.
Final protocol and punch point controlling.
Comparison planned vs. actual schedule and costs, nonconformities, accident statistic, environmental
incidents, experiences, and improvement potentials for further projects.
Input for the final project meeting & Final report installation.
