As the Mechanical Lead, you will balance hands-on design with strategic leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality engineering output—from initial concept through to production—within a highly regulated and innovative environment.
Key Highlights of the Role
Lead & Mentor: Directly manage and develop a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Technical Authority: Drive concept development and oversee design for injection-molded, sheet metal, and machined components.
Quality & Compliance: Own the mechanical sections of the Design History File (DHF) and lead risk management activities like FMEA.
Collaboration: Partner with suppliers, toolmakers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless manufacturing readiness.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 7–9 years in mechanical design (plastic, metal, and precision-machined parts).
Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, and Tolerance Analysis.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in medical device development or similar regulated industries is a significant plus.
Soft Skills: A problem-solving mindset and the ability to lead under pressure.
