Key Responsibilities:
Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit (Piping).
Review and approve Revit 3D models, layouts, isometrics, and GA drawings.
Ensure compliance with P&IDs, piping specifications, ASME codes, and client standards
Define and enforce Revit modelling standards, templates, and workflows
Lead clash detection, constructability reviews, and layout optimization
Interface with stress, support, and material engineering teams
Resolve technical queries, design changes, and site inputs
Ensure first-time-right quality and minimize rework
Develop project execution plans for piping engineering and design activities
Prepare work breakdown structures (WBS), deliverable lists, and resource plans
Estimate man-hours, prepare baseline schedules, and support project budgeting
Allocate tasks to team members and define milestones and priorities
Monitor daily / weekly progress against the plan and identify schedule risks
Track productivity, utilization, and efficiency metrics
Forecast man-hour consumption and report deviations with mitigation plans
Ensure on-time delivery of models, layouts, isometrics, and IFC drawings
Coordinate with document control for submission planning and revisions
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of ASME B31, ASME B16, API, and project specifications.
Understanding of stress analysis inputs, support philosophy, and constructability.
Act as the single point of contact for piping discipline with the client.
Participate in client review meetings, model reviews, and design discussions
Address client comments, ensure timely closure, and maintain response logs
Coordinate scope changes and additional work
Excellent communication and client-handling skills
Leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
Conduct technical reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Lead, guide, and mentor engineers, senior designers, and designers.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
10–15+ years of relevant Piping design experience.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and
instrumentation).
Experience in industrial plants, utilities, oil & gas, or process facilities
