About the Role:

• Leader of Learning - Religion Studies

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective teaching and learning programs for every student (in accordance with national, state and College guidelines)
• Mark, assess and moderate students’ work, and provide timely feedback
• Cater to individual needs and build a professional relationship with students
• Work as part of the team to achieve the aims and objectives of the school and develop cooperative relationships.
• Complete administrative tasks as required in a thorough and punctual manner.

Skills & Experience:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience (minimum: Education Diploma or Education Degree in relevant curriculum areas)
• Be suitably qualified to teach Religion Education and be confident with the new curriculum.
• Possess strong communication & staff management skills
• NESA registration or ability to obtain prior to commencement
• Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
• Provide a minimum of two professional references (Principal and HOD/supervisor)
• Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students
• Promote the College’s ethos/values/mission
