Step Into a Future Leadership Role in ComplianceAre you a bilingual compliance professional looking to make a high-level impact? We are partnering with a premier organization seeking a proactive and innovative Compliance Professional. This is a rare opportunity to act as the right-hand person to the Local Compliance Officer (LCO) and is explicitly positioned as a pipeline for a future Compliance Department Leader (Head of Department).Interest: The Role and RequirementsWe are seeking a Compliance Manager functioning as an Individual Contributor. You will report directly to the Local Compliance Officer (Japan) and take ownership of a variety of critical global and regional coordination tasks.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with Global and Regional Compliance teams , including the APAC Compliance Team.Conduct compliance risk assessments and draft global reporting, such as quarterly compliance reports.Plan and draft reviews of local policies , taking into account global requirements and domestic laws and regulations.Provide proactive advice on general compliance risks , including personal information, AML, and conflict of interest.Promote operational efficiency using technologies such as AI and implement enhanced monitoring using data analysis and dashboards.Support the formulation of assurance plans and conduct fieldwork, such as interviews and sampling tests.Core Qualifications:Native-level Japanese and Business-level English for reading, writing, and speaking.Practical experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control, or Internal Audit.Work experience in the financial and/or insurance industry.Knowledge of insurance industry laws and regulations , such as the Insurance Business Act and FSA Guidelines.Experience working in collaboration with Global or Regional teams.Why This Opportunity Stands OutThis role empowers you to act as a "key player" in strengthening the compliance function in Japan.
