Logistics Specialist – Cross-Border Logistics

Role Purpose
Reporting to the Regional Logistics Lead, the Cross-Border Transport Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day movement of Air and Ocean import shipments from international origins into the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end shipment management (Order-to-Arrival) for Air and Ocean B2B import shipments.
- Act as a central coordination point, managing day-to-day communications with external service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Handle operational inquiries, manage escalations in a timely manner, and resolve shipping defects.
- Utilize Intermediate Excel to create, analyze, and distribute operational performance reports and summaries.
- Investigate root causes of operational delays or issues to drive resolution.
- Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport operations.
- Foundational understanding of cross-border Air and Ocean freight movements.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for operational reporting and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to deep dive into operational root causes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
