We are currently seeking a reliable Mathematics Specialist and General Cover Teacher to join our supply roster for secondary schools across the Plymouth area, starting in September 2026. This position provides an excellent opportunity to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality education.
Responsibilities- Deliver pre-set Mathematics lessons effectively across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Provide comprehensive general cover for various secondary subjects on short-notice or planned bases.
- Maintain a structured, professional, and positive classroom environment in accordance with school policies.
- Oversee the collection of completed work upon session conclusion; note that no marking or long-term tracking is required.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum.
- High level of adaptability to manage diverse classroom settings within the Plymouth area.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to complete this process.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Competitive daily pay ranging from £130 - £160, processed weekly.
