We are seeking a skilled and experienced HEMM Mechanic for a contract position in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the maintenance and repair of heavy mining equipment.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy mining equipment.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of worn or damaged parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with the operational team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience as a HEMM Mechanic.
- Proven expertise in the maintenance and repair of heavy mining equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HEMM systems including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and safety protocols in a mining environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good knowledge of English for communication and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
