Are you a "gearhead" who finds satisfaction in the details? Do you believe that the best work starts with a clean slate? We are looking for a reliable, mechanically-minded professional to join our Southeast Calgary team.
...
This isn't just basic labor; it’s a hands-on role centered on the surgical teardown, deep cleaning, and meticulous preparation of specialized industrial machinery. If you enjoy the "puzzle" of dismantling equipment and take pride in delivering a machine that looks and functions like new, you’ll thrive in our shop.
What You’ll Do
Surgical Teardown: Use your mechanical intuition to efficiently dismantle complex machinery. You’ll be the master of your toolbox, using hand and power tools to strip equipment down to its core components.
Precision Restoration: Execute a high-standard "deep clean" of industrial components. You’ll ensure every part is free of grease, scale, and debris, meeting our "like-new" finish standards.
Staging & Logistics: Act as the final architect of the process—organizing, securing, and prepping machinery for transit to ensure it arrives at the client site in pristine condition.
Quality Stewardship: Serve as our final line of defense. You’ll inspect parts for wear and ensure that every component is handled with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the restoration cycle.
What You Bring
A Mechanical Mind: You understand how things fit together (and how they come apart).
Tool Proficiency: Experience with pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and industrial cleaning equipment.
Detail Obsession: You aren't satisfied until the job is spotless and organized.
Physical Stamina: You’re comfortable in a shop environment, capable of lifting components and staying active throughout the day.
Advantages
Consistent day shift schedule with early afternoon finish times.
Competitive hourly wage of $22.50.
Opportunity for a quick meet and greet followed by a job shadow before starting.
All necessary tools and safety equipment (glasses, ear plugs, gloves) are provided by the company.
Stable work environment within a production-oriented shop.
Responsibilities
Machine Prep: Master the teardown process for 2–4 units per day, ensuring they are installation-ready for our clients.
Tool Operation: Skilled use of manual and powered shop tools for equipment disassembly.
Team Synergy: Contribute to a fast-paced production-line environment with a focus on consistency.
Manual Dexterity: Comfortable lifting and moving machinery across various workstations throughout the shift.
Operational Excellence: Keep your station organized to hit daily production targets and maintain safety.
Phase One Focus: This role begins with a 90-day focus on precision cleaning and dismantling—the essential foundation for our equipment standards.
Qualifications
Tool Proficiency: Proven experience safely operating basic hand and power tools.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 30–40 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with a partner.
Strong Work Ethic: Excellent organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-based production setting.
Reliability: Consistent and dependable transportation to our Southeast Calgary location.
Safety First: Must own and wear steel toes shoe.
