Role Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Support Engineer/Executive with a strong background in the cement industry and hands-on experience in project execution, shutdowns, erection & commissioning, and mechanical maintenance. The candidate will support on-site project activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely completion of mechanical works as per safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for ongoing project activities at the plant site.

• Assist in erection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of cement plant machinery (e.g., crushers, conveyors, kilns, mills, compressors, fans, etc.).

• Monitor daily project progress and ensure adherence to schedules.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.

• Conduct inspections and ensure work quality as per specifications and safety guidelines.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support plant operations during shutdowns.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports and document all project-related updates.

• Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) norms.

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in the cement industry (mandatory).

• Experience in project execution / mechanical project support.

• Solid understanding of cement plant equipment and mechanical systems.

• Ability to read technical drawings and execute field work.

• Strong coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work on contract basis and at project site.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
