Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mining Engineer with 3 years of hands-on experience in mine planning and design specifically in coal or lignite mining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and optimizing mining activities in accordance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop short-term and long-term mine plans using software such as Surpac, Minex, or MineScape

• Prepare mine designs, layouts, and production schedules

• Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies for mining projects

• Coordinate with geological, survey, and environmental teams to support mining operations

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safety norms

• Monitor mine production to ensure adherence to plans

• Analyze geological and mining data for improved efficiency and productivity

• Assist in preparation of reports for DGMS, MoEF, and other regulatory bodies

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, Minex, MineScape)

• Strong knowledge of mining methods, drilling, blasting, and excavation techniques

• Understanding of statutory guidelines related to coal/lignite mining

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Candidate:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering from a recognized university

• Valid Gas Testing and First Aid Certificate (preferred)

• Familiarity with Indian mining regulations and DGMS guidelines
