Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery (such as extruders, bun lines, cutting machines, or laminators) ensuring optimal performance.
- Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines and safely unload, pack, and stack finished foam/insulation products.
- Quality Inspections: Conduct regular visual and dimensional checks of products to ensure they meet Armacell's quality benchmarks; report any defects immediately to the Line Supervisor.
- Safety & 5S Compliance: Adhere strictly to all plant safety guidelines, wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles.
- Daily Reporting: Maintain basic production logs, noting down output quantities, material consumption, and equipment downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to resolve minor operational hitches quickly and maintain smooth line flow.
