• Paying $400 + super per day

About the Role Our client is a state Government body based in the Sydney CBD. They are currently seeking a Payroll Support Officer to come in and work with them on a 4 month temp contract with possible extensions. Requirements for this role include:

• Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and administration within a complex or multi-award environment.
• Parallel payroll processing experience (Essential)
• Proficiency in SAP Successfactors (Essential)
• Experience in system validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage fortnightly payroll transactions in SAP Successfactors accurately, efficiently, and within strict statutory and organizational deadlines.
• ERP Operations & Process Improvement: Support SAP/ERP system validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee data across payroll and HR systems, ensuring full adherence to legislative requirements and organizational policies.
• Query Resolution & Customer Service: Provide prompt, professional, and clear support to resolve employee payroll inquiries with a high-touch, service-oriented approach.
• Reconciliation & Auditing: Conduct regular payroll reconciliations, audit checks, and issue resolutions to safeguard payment accuracy and audit readiness.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare, verify, and deliver essential payroll reports, registers, and compliance documentation.
• Data Privacy & Team Engagement: Maintain strict confidentiality over sensitive employee data while actively supporting a collaborative team environment aligned with core organizational values.
