Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant - Sterile Compounding - Temporary Assignment - Burnaby, BC - Healthcare
Work primarily in the staging area of the cleanroom to support medications and supplies entering the sterile cleanroom for IV admixture compounding.
Pick, accurately decontaminate, and restock medications, components, and other vital supplies.
Maintain strict adherence to NAPRA standards to ensure the integrity and sterility of the environment.
Safely lift and maneuver totes of supplies and jugs of liquid weighing up to 40 lbs.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including a mask and gloves, for up to 7.5 hours per shift.
Adapt to a specialized indoor environment that can run on the cooler side by wearing appropriate layers.

Strong English language communication skills to accurately take direction and collaborate with the pharmacy team.
