Job Title: Planning & Cost Control Manager (O&M)Location: Mundra, Gujarat Position Overview As the Planning & Cost Control Manager, you will be the strategic architect behind the financial and operational efficiency of our O&M activities. You will serve as the primary focal point for budget integrity, shutdown efficiency, and management reporting for one of our premier industrial sites. Key Responsibilities• Financial Stewardship: Lead the development of comprehensive annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Execute deep-dive variance analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure fiscal discipline.• Operational Planning: Mastermind the scheduling for major plant shutdowns and turnarounds. Develop and maintain high-level progress dashboards to ensure all activities are delivered on time and within budget.• Cost Management & Auditing: Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle—from PR/PO control to contractor billing. Conduct granular rate analysis to ensure "Best in Class" value for the organization.• Strategic Reporting (MIS): Design and manage Executive Management Information Systems (MIS). Identify and track financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights for senior leadership.• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the critical interface between Procurement, Stores, and Department Heads to align operational goals with financial constraints. Candidate Profile1. Education & Experience• Mandatory: B.E. / B.Tech• Experience: Minimum 20+ years of progressive experience in Process, Chemical, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Large-scale Industrial Plants. 2. Technical Mastery• Cost Engineering: Proven track record in O&M budgeting and life-cycle cost analysis.• Planning Tools: Expert proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced project planning software.• Data Analytics: Advanced Excel skills for complex data modeling and reporting. 3.
