Are you an experienced, dedicated, and passionate tutor specialising in Primary Education, ready to transform young lives? Randstad UK is expanding its dedicated team and seeking enthusiastic Primary Tutors to join us in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas! This is your chance to provide high-quality, tailored tuition sessions to students in Key Stage 1 (Year 1-2) and Key Stage 2 (Year 3-6), focusing on core Primary subjects like Literacy, Numeracy, and Phonics. You will deliver tuition aligned with the current UK national curriculum, focusing on building students' foundational academic confidence, social skills, and overall future success.
Enjoy incredible flexibility with sessions ranging from just 1 hour per week up to 15 hours per week. We offer a variety of work settings that suit you-including on school premises, within students' homes, or in convenient public spaces (such as libraries). You will have the unique opportunity to form long-term, meaningful relationships, offering consistent support and encouragement throughout a student's academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape Success: Deliver crucial tuition sessions in Primary Literacy, Numeracy, Phonics, and other subjects, strictly following the UK national curriculum.
- Individualised Excellence: Provide individualised support, championing students in both core academic subjects and social development.
- Wide Scope: Work successfully with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Bespoke Learning: Develop and implement tailored lesson plans designed to meet each student's unique learning needs.
- Positive Environment: Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that powerfully builds students' confidence and self-esteem.
- Inclusion: Work effectively with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adjusting approaches to ensure complete inclusivity and accessibility in learning.
- Collaboration: Maintain proactive communication with students and their families regarding progress, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for further development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in delivering tuition across Primary Literacy, Numeracy, and Phonics.
- A strong, comprehensive understanding of the current Primary UK national curriculum.
- Valuable experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong, positive relationships with students.
- A valid DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one before employment commences.
