What You Will Do:
- Lead the end-to-end deployment, upgrade, and configuration of Check Point firewalls as the primary platform.
- Support and optimise firewall environments across Check Point and Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway (SWG), ensuring seamless integration with Cisco routing and switching.
- Orchestrate firewall rule bases and optimise policies via the AlgoSec platform to ensure continuous compliance and governance.
- Monitor firewall health and performance using SolarWinds, providing advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including solution designs, ICT change plans, implementation procedures, and testing artefacts.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Check Point firewall technologies, with a strong focus on builds, replacements, upgrades, and policy optimisation.
- Practical expertise with Palo Alto capabilities in enterprise deployments and a strong background in Cisco routing and switching.
- Demonstrated experience using AlgoSec (or equivalent network security policy management tools) and SolarWinds (or similar monitoring platforms).
- A solid understanding of cyber security frameworks, with practical knowledge of ITIL service management, change management, and configuration management processes.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical designs and implementation procedures, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
