About the job:
In this role you will be primarily responsible for the lifecycle management of the facilities and will provide technical support to the operations team.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a technical background with a degree in a natural science (university of applied sciences/technical university) in fields such as process engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, or mechanical engineering. They will have at least three years of professional experience in plant engineering or the design of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and possess a sound understanding of GMP and the process engineering requirements for production plants for solid dosage forms. Furthermore, the individual is characterized by a willingness to work in an agile, self-organized environment and has excellent German and good English skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Efficient and effective operational engineering of our galenic solida plants in Basel
- Creation, maintenance, review, and approval of project, plant, qualification, and HSE documentation (HSE = Safety, Health, and Environment)
- Implementation and ensuring compliance with state-of-the-art technology and regulatory and internal requirements Guidelines in the areas of HSE and GMP
- Proactively supporting clients in defining and initiating investment projects, including cost estimates and schedules
- Managing projects and orders, taking responsibility for the technical solution, costs, and deadlines
Must Haves:
- Basic technical training with a completed degree in a natural science (university of applied sciences/technical university), e.g. process engineering/pharmaceutical engineering/mechanical engineering or similar
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in plant engineering and/or project planning of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
- Sound understanding of GMP and process engineering requirements for process plants and package units in the field of solid dosage form manufacturing
- Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
- Excellent German and good English skills are required
- Independence, initiative and integrity
- Goal-oriented, flexible work style to respond quickly to customer requests
- Challenging conventional thinking and openness to new, creative ideas – even outside of established fields
- Strong social skills, teamwork abilities, and excellent communication and coordination skills, including when dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority.
