Lead the enterprise-wide transition to Windows 11 and the modernisation of critical engineering workstations for a major infrastructure leader. We are seeking a senior, delivery-led Program Manager to direct two tightly coupled, high-priority initiatives. This is an execution-focused role where you will be accountable for vendor performance, delivery certainty, and risk retirement, ensuring a seamless transition to a secure and operationally ready environment before Windows 10 reaches end-of-support.
What You Will Do:
Direct and control end-to-end delivery of the Windows 11 Replacement and Engineering Workstation streams, managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
Manage and hold external vendors and systems integrators to account, ensuring SOE designs and rollouts meet agreed quality and security targets.
Integrate outcomes across multiple suppliers to create a single, cohesive delivery plan that minimises business disruption.
Act as the primary interface between IT, Engineering, Cyber Security, and Operations to resolve dependencies and ensure delivery is fit-for-purpose.
Lead formal transition activities to ensure all deliverables are accepted and successfully handed over to BAU support arrangements.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Proven experience leading large-scale, vendor-led endpoint, SOE, or workplace technology programs.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing hardware suppliers and systems integrators at scale.
Deep understanding of enterprise Windows environments, endpoint lifecycle management, and application compatibility challenges.
Previous experience operating within regulated, asset-intensive, or safety-critical environments.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide decision-ready reporting to executive governance and program boards.
