Primary Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Contractor to support the delivery of timely, accurate, and high-quality property services. This role is responsible for coordinating insurance setup and renewals, managing property valuations, and providing essential administrative support for customer-owned properties.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver timely, consistent, and high-quality customer services, including managing financial transactions for property insurance in line with core service principles.
Undertake property-related functions, including coordinating insurance and valuations for customer-owned properties and managing external service providers.
Review insurance and valuation documentation to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
Provide accurate, professional support and information to customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Use internal systems and processes to manage customer-owned properties and contribute to process improvements.
Escalate complex matters to senior leadership when required.
Demonstrate the agency’s values and professional behaviors in every interaction.
Key Challenges
Managing a high-volume caseload with competing priorities to meet strict service expectations.
Liaising with customers and external service providers to deliver clear and timely updates to all stakeholders.
Supporting customers with limited property knowledge to understand complex insurance and property requirements.
About You
Proven experience in the insurance industry with a strong knowledge of property insurance.
Ability to manage high-volume caseloads with accuracy while working effectively under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when reviewing insurance and valuation information.
Confident communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and external service providers.
Ability to coordinate and manage external service providers efficiently.
Understanding of the needs of vulnerable or older people within a customer service context.
Willingness to participate in quality assurance processes, including call and email monitoring.
Work Arrangement
To ensure you are fully supported, the role begins with a comprehensive onsite training period in Parramatta (5 days per week).
Initial 2–3 Months: Onsite at Parramatta (5 days/week).
Ongoing: Once able to work independently, the role will shift to a hybrid arrangement (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
