Responsibilities:- Oversee and implement Quality Assurance processes for civil engineering projects within the steel industry.
- Conduct inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Review project plans, technical drawings, and specifications to identify potential quality issues and risks.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and implement solutions.
- Monitor the quality of materials used in construction, including concrete, steel, and other relevant materials.
- Ensure adherence to established QA/QC procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on quality matters.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in civil engineering QA/QC.
- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years, up to 12 years, of relevant experience in Quality Assurance for Civil Engineering projects.
- Proven experience within the Steel industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of QA Engineer principles, civil construction methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in QA/QC methodologies and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
