We are looking for a Business-Facing Agentic AI Engineer on behalf of our client, a globally recognized, iconic fashion brand.
This is not a traditional SAP support role. We are seeking an innovative engineer who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge Generative AI and real-world retail operations. In this role, you will design and build autonomous AI agents that interact directly with business professionals (such as logistics managers, supply planners, and store employees), translating complex operational data into intuitive, automated, and human-friendly AI solutions.
your tasks
1. Agentic & Generative AI Development
- Design and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of monitoring and interacting with SAP Retail and Supply Chain systems.
- Build "business-facing" interfaces, assistants, and chatbots that non-technical employees can easily use to streamline their daily operations.
- Develop robust agent workflows using Python and modern orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph).
- Implement event-driven architectures and API integrations to connect AI agents with core enterprise systems.
2. Business Collaboration & UX Translation
- Act as a translator between deep technical AI engineering and practical business needs.
- Collaborate directly with internal business clients, planners, and logistics teams to understand their pain points and map them to AI-driven workflows.
- Design AI interactions that make complex backend data digestible and actionable for non-technical users.
3. SAP Retail & Supply Chain Optimization
- Apply your understanding of the SAP ecosystem to automate and streamline core business processes.
- Focus on key retail domain areas, including:
- Automated ordering of goods and inventory adjustments.
- Demand forecasting and allocation/replenishment runs.
- Warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management efficiency.
- Partner with SAP functional and integration teams to leverage BAPIs, OData services, and IDOCs for agent-driven actions.
what we expect
Professional Experience
- Proven track record of building and deploying Agentic AI / Generative AI solutions (we are looking for someone who builds autonomous agents, not just standard analytical models).
- "Business-Facing" Experience: A portfolio showing collaboration with business stakeholders and the design of direct-user AI interfaces (chatbots, planners' assistants, etc.).
- Strong experience in Python and modern AI/automation frameworks.
Domain & SAP Knowledge
- Solid understanding of processes within Retail, Logistics, or Supply Chain environments.
- Familiarity with the SAP ecosystem (SAP Retail, SAP MM, or SAP S/4HANA) and how data flows through these systems (IDOCs, APIs, master data).
- Ability to work with structured transactional data to feed AI decision-making processes.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical AI concepts to non-technical business professionals.
