Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including voucher preparation, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, financial statements, and regional financial reporting packages.
Assist in the compilation and submission of liquid capital computations in strict compliance with SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR).
Support month-end close processes, perform balance sheet reviews, and analyze variance reports for executive management.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners to ensure seamless statutory audit processes and corporate tax filings.
Drive the continuous optimisation of internal accounting controls and assist in system implementation projects to automate financial reporting.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is highly preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting within a securities house, brokerage, or SFC-licensed financial institution.
Solid working knowledge of SFC FRR requirements, HKFRS accounting standards, and local tax regulations.
Proactive, self-motivated attitude with high attention to detail; immediate availability or short notice period is strongly preferred.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory to effectively coordinate with regional business units and mainland stakeholders.
