Conduct periodic reviews on existing corporate accounts and execute targeted CDD reviews triggered by special projects or transaction monitoring alerts.
Review comprehensive account opening documentation and related supporting evidence to ensure absolute compliance with internal policies, procedures, and HKMA regulatory guidelines.
Perform daily anti-money laundering (AML) name screening, PEP checks, and negative news assessments.
Update internal e-KYC and AML tracking systems while monitoring and following up on the overall review progress to prevent backlogs.
Communicate professionally with Relationship Managers (RMs) and corporate clients to collect necessary supporting documents and clarify KYC information.
Prepare regular compliance reports, perform essential clerical duties, and execute ad-hoc tasks as assigned by line management.
skills & experiences required.
Minimum 2 years of relevant CDD/KYC experience within a Commercial Banking or Corporate Banking environment.
Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, or above in business, finance, law, or related disciplines.
Solid knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory requirements, issues, and market practices.
Patient, proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle client-facing queries.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks independently, manage time efficiently, and work effectively under pressure.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with a strong emphasis on fluent Mandarin.
Proficiency in general PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
