In this senior consulting role, you will be responsible for identifying complex business problems and defining the comprehensive scope of activities required to address them. Your mandate spans the entire project lifecycle, encompassing detailed requirement elicitation, comprehensive process reviews, gap analyses, operational streamlining, and the formulation of target testing and training strategies. Responsibilities
Requirements Lifecycle Leadership: Lead detailed requirement-gathering phases by identifying, tracking, analyzing, and documenting clear, well-structured business requirements documents (BRDs).
Process Mapping & Gap Analysis: Design and maintain highly detailed, institutional-grade current-state and future-state process maps to facilitate blueprinting and training efforts.
Stakeholder Facilitation: Plan, organize, and facilitate cross-functional workshops with business partners and technical teams to elicit requirements, manage expectations, and build delivery consensus.
Risk & Issue Governance: Proactively track and resolve business systems issues, identify project anomalies early, and develop robust risk-mitigation strategies to ensure timeline continuity.
Artifact Management: Author and govern core project documentation, including implementation plans, issues logs, data matrices, business testing strategies, and regular executive reports.
Testing & Readiness Support: Coordinate with project members to construct business user testing strategies, provide hands-on assistance during user validation phases, and develop strategic operational training plans.
Strategic Advisory: Provide consultative insights to business partners on net-new corporate initiatives, translating complex organizational needs into actionable technical goals.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of progressive professional experience operating as a dedicated Business Analyst within structured corporate environments.
Methodological Depth: Extensive, hands-on experience in all facets of the project delivery lifecycle (SDLC/Agile/Waterfall), paired with a deep comprehension of formal project management disciplines.
Process Modeling Prowess: Proven track record in identifying, assessing, and optimizing core enterprise business workflows using formal process engineering techniques.
Conflict Resolution & Finesse: Advanced capability to resolve minor operational conflicts and alignment friction points independently using varied tactics prior to escalation.
Technical Tool Stack: Strong daily working knowledge of project tracking tools, databases, and visualization/desktop suites (e.g., MS Project, Advanced MS Excel, Visio, or Lucidchart).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or a related analytical equivalent field.
Soft Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; elite analytical and problem-solving attributes; comfortable driving progress independently amid high corporate ambiguity.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Possessing a formal Business Analyst designation (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).
Prior professional experience operating within the Financial Services or Banking sectors.
