Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the group’s financial reporting framework. This is a "hands-on" corporate role that requires a deep understanding of complex group structures and a commitment to meeting strict statutory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end monthly consolidation process for multiple entities across the Australian and international portfolio.
Take ownership of the preparation of statutory financial statements in strict accordance with AASB/IFRS and Australian corporate legislation.
Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, assisting with any queries.
Provide expert advice on complex accounting matters, including intercompany eliminations, foreign exchange translations, and revenue recognition.
Assist with the preparation and lodgement of monthly and quarterly tax compliance requirements (BAS/GST).
Identify and implement enhancements to the consolidation process to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.
We are looking for a professional who can hit the ground running. You will be comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess the resilience to manage competing priorities.
CA or CPA qualified.
Proven experience in group consolidations within a complex corporate environment is mandatory.
Demonstrated success in preparing full-suite statutory financial statements.
Previous experience within the FMCG, or consumer goods sectors is highly regarded.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large-scale ERP systems (NetSuite highly desirable).
A proactive, self-directed mindset with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
