ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer, to architect and manage the data infrastructure essential for advanced analytics, ensuring their data assets evolve in line with their digital transformation goals. You will work with the Analytical teams and Business Groups to develop the underlying data assets and pipelines required to monitor and support operational and strategic decision-making.

This role requires hands-on expertise in Kimball dimensional modelling and strong understanding of data architecture to manage data models from tactical through to refined stages.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

A high level of knowledge across dimensional data modelling, information architecture, Snowflake data warehouse platform, and Informatica.
Significant experience in Snowflake data warehouse platform architecture and dimensional data modelling using Kimball methodology
Ability to work with the business and analyst community to design logical data models
Ability to convert raw data, applying business models from Informatica, into well-structured and managed data models, that will be used by analysts across the organisation.
Familiarity with the system development lifecycle in an Agile environment
Knowledge of agile principles, data management, and change integration.
Proven ability to coach and mentor others
