The Challenge:
As the Subject Matter Expert for an AB Suite (formerly LINC) environment running on Unisys OS2200, you will ensure the absolute stability of high-stakes payroll operations while helping us evolve the system through modern tools like Azure DevOps.
The Opportunity:
Support the backbone of provincial operations. We are looking for a veteran Developer to manage a custom-written HR/Payroll suite with a 30-year legacy of stability. This position offers a unique technical challenge: maintaining deep-level OS2200 ECL and RDMS configurations while utilizing AB Suite System Modeler for future-facing development.

Responsibilities
- Technical Lead: Manage the end-to-end generate/deployment cycle for AB Suite (formerly LINC) runtimes.
- Development & Maintenance: Lead the development, generation, and deployment cycles for AB Suite Runtimes on the OS2200 platform.
- Legacy System Management: Maintain and optimize custom HR/Payroll applications, utilizing OS2200 ECL, Demand, and RDMS databases.
- Modern Integration: Navigate the Visual Studio AB Suite System Modeler and manage build pipelines within Azure DevOps.
- Reporting: Design and execute complex Batch AB Suite reports tailored for the OS2200 environment.
- Stability & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical payroll cycles.
Qualifications
The Core: Extensive experience in AB Suite (LINC) development is mandatory.
The Environment: Deep familiarity with the Unisys OS2200 ecosystem, including ECL (Executive Control Language) and RDMS databases.
The Modern Bridge: Practical knowledge of Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and modern automated build pipelines.
Reporting: Proven ability to write and manage Batch AB Suite Reports.
Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with HR/Payroll logic or high-stakes financial applications is a significant asset.
