We are seeking a high-calibre, experienced governance professional to join our organisation as Senior Manager, Company Secretary.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and executive leadership, you will lead the company secretarial function to ensure exemplary standards of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and secretarial administration across our regulated Takaful business.

about the job

• Board & Committee Governance: Oversee end-to-end secretarial support for the Board of Directors, Board Committees, and the Shariah Committee, including meeting planning, board paper quality control, timely distribution, and accurate minuting.

• Regulatory Compliance: Direct and ensure full compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) frameworks, the Islamic Financial Services Act (IFSA 2013), Companies Act 2016, and other relevant statutory regulations.

• Shariah Governance Liaison: Serve as the key secretarial partner for the Shariah Committee, ensuring strict adherence to BNM’s Shariah Governance Framework (SGF) and execution of Shariah decisions.

• Statutory & Corporate Secretarial Management: Maintain statutory records, handle statutory filings, draft corporate resolutions, and manage General Meetings (AGM/EGM).

• Advisory & Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior management on statutory compliance, corporate governance best practices, and legal updates.
