- Create 3D models, assemblies, and layouts using SolidWorks
- Develop 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T, tolerances, and annotations
- Design mechanical components, weldments, sheet metal parts, and assemblies
- Prepare BOMs and support cost optimization and manufacturability
- Modify and optimize existing designs based on feedback and testing
- Coordinate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams
- Ensure designs comply with DFM/DFA principles and industry standards
- Support prototype development and resolve design-related issues
- Maintain proper documentation and version control (PDM/PLM experience is a plus)
