If you want to blend heavy Cisco networking with advanced Check Point security architecture in a modern, DevSecOps-driven environment, this contract is for you.
*Our client is an equal opportunity employer. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.*

- High Visibility: Take true ownership of the bank's defense-in-depth strategy, protecting critical financial infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Security Control & Evergreening: Maintain, upgrade, and optimize enterprise network security controls, ensuring the environment is continuously modernized and simplified.
- Vulnerability & Risk Mitigation: Diagnose, mitigate, and resolve complex, cross-functional network security risks, operational issues, and emerging threats across production and non-production environments.
- Incident Response & Monitoring: Monitor and analyze network security events leveraging logs, alerts, and enterprise monitoring tools to identify root causes and recommend decisive remediation actions.
- Resiliency Testing: Participate in the planning and execution of production deployment validation, performance testing, failover, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation.
- Intelligent Automation: Research, recommend, and implement automation best practices to eliminate repetitive tasks and significantly improve operational efficiency.
- Collaboration & Compliance: Partner with internal teams to ensure all network solutions strictly adhere to security policies, industry standards, and regulatory banking requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Dual Expertise: 5+ years of recent, demonstrated experience blending core Network Operations with robust Network Security (testing, troubleshooting, and enterprise integration).
- The Core Tech Stack: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco switching and routing platforms AND Check Point firewall technologies & security management platforms.
- IT Operations & Triage: Strong knowledge of incident response, vulnerability handling, and managing security controls (such as micro-segmentation policies and secure configurations).
- Modern Workflows: Demonstrated ability to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Agile Mindset: Proven experience working inside a structured SCRUM framework alongside cross-functional technical teams.
