We are seeking a solution-driven Automation Solution Architect to lead system design, proposal costing, and technical presales for complex Industry 4.0 and robotics projects across Northern Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Simulation: Conduct factory site surveys to map throughput and develop 2D layouts alongside 3D simulation models.
- Costing & Risk Management: Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), perform margin analysis, and identify technical execution risks early.
- Presales & Client Presentations: Partner with the sales team to present technical proposals, system architectures, and capability decks to prospective clients.
- Solution Scoping: Evaluate capacity requirements and spec out ASRS, robotics, AGVs, and warehouse control systems for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in technical presales, solution architecture, or automation system design.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D simulation software (FlexSim, Visual Components, or similar), and advanced Excel costing.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid expertise in material handling, robotics, AGVs, ASRS, or warehouse control platforms.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the Northern Region for client site evaluations.
