The Role

As a Senior Risk Support Analyst, you will drive the operational execution of the 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) risk and compliance framework. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Risk Support, you will act as a trusted advisor to divisional stakeholders, embedding operational risk controls, overseeing issue resolution, leading reporting for key forums, and driving a proactive risk-aware culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Guiding the practical application of the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) across divisional decision-making.
• Managing KRI data, testing control effectiveness, and maintaining core risk systems
• Overseeing incident management, root cause analysis, and the timely closure of internal audit actions.
• Conducting gap analyses for new regulatory requirements and supporting continuous compliance monitoring.

Your Experience

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit within a complex, regulated environment (financial services highly regarded).
• Strong hands-on expertise with operational risk frameworks, control design, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with enterprise risk management platforms and data tools.
• Proven ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical solutions and influence stakeholders across various leadership levels.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or industry qualifications desirable.
