As a Senior Social Worker in the Safe and Supported Team, your role will involve:
Managing a complex caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and support, ensuring all interventions are child-centred and outcome-focused.
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks, needs, and strengths, and developing robust care plans.
Leading and participating in multi-agency meetings, working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Providing expert advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues, contributing to their professional development.
Preparing and presenting clear, concise reports for various purposes, including court proceedings and child protection conferences.
Undertaking direct work with children and families, building trusting relationships and empowering them to make positive changes.
Responding effectively to crisis situations, ensuring the immediate safety and well-being of children.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements and local policies.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of team practices and service delivery.
Key Requirements:
You must be a Qualified Social Worker with proven experience in children's services.
Social Work England registration is essential.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
